There's just something about old barns and buildings that really capture my interest. Maybe it's because I grew up a "town girl" and never had the experience of living "on the farm." These old structures stand as a reminder of "times gone by". Life on the farm, as with anywhere, still had it's difficulties, but seemed to hold such simple joys. My husband is lucky to have fond memories of going to visit his Grandma and Grandpa on the farm. Maybe this photo will bring back memories you have of time spent "on the farm."
I've always had an interest in photography, and within the past few years, have finally had the opportunity to enjoy and explore all it has to offer. There is so much beauty around us, and I love capturing it whenever I can.
