While sitting in my stand, I had two small fawns slowly make their way towards me in the woods. Eventually, one of the fawns stepped into the opening of the field, and proceeded to walk right towards my deer stand. Unfortunately, it spotted me in the window, and gave the warning "blow" that danger was near. Back into the woods it went. Lucky for me, they didn't go too far! Slowly, and cautiously, they made their way back towards my stand. This was as close as they were going to get; until they knew it was safe. They stood like that for a LONG time! Their suspicions were confirmed, when once again I moved too quickly, and they both "high-tailed" it out of there!
